That is Hettie Dombrovskaya, your Communications Chair. Today, I am reaching out to you in my capacity as an organizer of the
PG DATA 2026 conference.
In that capacity, my goal is to bring together developers, DBAs, students and researchers who are interested to learn more about PostgreSQL - the most advanced open source relational database. Our Academic Partnership program is designed to encourage attendance of the faculty of colleges and universities offering Computer Science major. Please find details below.
🎓 Empower academia at PG DATA 2026! Our new series prioritizes PostgreSQL education, community-building, and outreach to universities, scheduled for June 4-5, 2026, at Loyola University Water Tower Campus in Chicago. This nonprofit event provides sessions for students and professionals to explore the future of PostgreSQL.
Academic Partners (for CS programs) are essential, aiding our goal to inspire the next generation through affordable learning, and require committee approval.
