Mid-summer is always a great time to see our front garden at it's peak on our 1928 Westlawn Bungalow.  About 5 years ago, we had our front stoop planters custom made by a statuary maker in Andersonville.   He has since retired.  Our window box is original from 1926, but we almost lost it during the sale closing in 1988, when after the final walk through at closing, we noticed it missing and found out that the seller gave it to his brother.   We made it an issue and got it back!   About 8 years ago, we had some large evergreens removed and had plants installed using the Bungalow Association's guidelines. This time of year, we enjoy sitting out on the stoop and enjoying our bungalow's garden.

Thank you for sharing, that looks great. For anyone looking for planters, try:

Used to be near Fullerton and Cicero, I believe, looks like they moved. I went once and they had nice stuff for a good price. They had a window box I loved but it didn't come in the size I needed. I still think about going back for the same motif in a planter. Maybe some day! Pam
