I’m writing to invite you to Roots & Remedies, a national convening happening at the University of Illinois at Chicago July 22-24, 2016.

Roots & Remedies brings together social justice activists to deepen our shared analysis of root causes and elevate practice and policies – remedies – as part of an inclusive framework that helps us forge common ground and identify shared points of collaboration and action.

As a host committee member, we’d like to join us so we can spend three days in this important action space! Register today so we can connect, plot and build toward more effective movements in Chicago and beyond.

Roots & Remedies is in its 5th year of designing programs thatspark innovative strategies for racial and health justice, and facilitating connections between key progressive networks to build a national movement for a true democracy.

This gathering is coordinated by The Praxis Project, a nonprofit movement support intermediary and an institution of color that supports organizing and change work at local, regional and national levels.
