Arlene McClendon and her family are currently facing eviction by Fannie Mae.
Last month, the court disregarded their motion to have the eviction dismissed even though they had proof that their attorney had mishandled their case.
The McClendon family has repeatedly offered to buy back the home, but Fannie Mae thus far refused to respond. This goes directly against Fannie Mae's new policy of providing foreclosed families with an opportunity to "buy back" their homes.
