Hi,
KIDEVAL checks @ID headers in all files in a "Files In” list to see what speakers are present. If @ID headers are not present, then KIDEVAL looks for the first speaker it can finds in the file. If you run GEM command without +d1 option, then you will get output with the first speaker like line that looks like this "*** File …” and this is what KIDEVAL think is the speaker code in that file.
Your GEM commands should include
+d1 option if you plan to have GEM output analyzed by other CLAN commands.
