Hi everyone,

I’m doing a work on Thai to English and though I’m not using Thai MOR I am coding for usage in between English conversations. So far in the manual I’ve only found a way to code only single T-Units but I’m not sure how to code when it’s not one but various or even a full sentence.
For now I’m using <> to join them but in not sure if it will be read by the program.

Thank you in advance

Nayeli,
I don’t really quite follow this. Could you send me a sample file or post one to ChiBolts.

I'm coding for code switching from Thai to English and I want to know if I'm doing this correctly or if there is another way:

So if I code a full sentence in Thai I mark it as:

*PARG: &-ahh <in the> [/] in the left +...
*PARI: [-thai] you can say it in thai if you can't right.
*PARG: in the left I +...

BUT if I have half a sentence in Thai (not just a word) and the rest in English, how should it be coded?

*PARI: yeah I have that
*PARG: <what do you think>@thai your book is don't have anything except the toy
*PARI: yeah little toy little round toy but &-fla flattened toy and is blue

Nayeli,

I don’t quite understand why you are writing out the Thai in English, but maybe that works for you.

For the sentence with a few words in thai (which you write in English) you would want

*PARG: what_do_you_think@s:tha your book is don’t have anything except the toy.
