Hi,

We are trying to analyze the main verbs both quantitatively and qualitatively using the C-QPA command. Is it possible to obtain the information on which words are being identified as a main verb or a lexical verb from the command? I assume this is currently not supported, but do you have any suggestions on getting this alternatively? (maybe by using FREQ command)

Thank you.

Dear Eunseop,
I assume you are looking at AphasiaBank data. I’m not quite sure what type of output you are looking for. I assume you are right that C-QPA doesn’t list its matches verb-by-veb. However, the %mor line uses the tag v|* for all main verbs and you can use that as your search string for FREQ including +t%mor. Or you could do the same with data tagged by Universal Dependencies and then the tag is verb|*. For the details on what you want just review all of the options in FREQ.
