Extracting individual participants' ages from a corpus

Dear colleagues,

I would like to extract the @ID header including the target child's age for each of the files in  the subfolder TD-frog in the Conti4 corpus. It's been a while since I used CLAN and my attempts have so far failed. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Hi,

As I understand it you want a list of all Target_Child @ID headers. First set CLAN working directory separately to SLI-frog or TD-frog, the try commands:

kwal -t* +t@ID +s"*|Target_Child|*" *.cha

kwal -t* +t@ID +s"*|Target_Child|*" *.cha +d

You can add +f option to above commands to save output to a file.
