How to cite CLAN

I am cleaning up the bibliography in my dissertation and I would like
to cite CLAN properly. Are the release dates used in lieu of version
numbers? May I suggest that you add a couple of lines of citation info
to the download page?

or the last published version of the CHILDES manual:
