Hi 

How can we export annotations from CLAN to .json?

JSON is an open standard file format and data interchange format that uses human-readable text to store and transmit data objects consisting of name–value pairs and arrays.

    John Kowalski and Leonid Spektor have nearly completed a converter from CHAT to JSON.  I don’t know whether or not it can easily be made available.  I am copying to John to see.

Me and my colleagues (Shijian Deng, copied to the email) were actually trying to figure out if we could convert the CLAN files (.cha) to (.json). Could you please guide us on the steps that might be involved ?

It happens that I am very close to having a CHAT to JSON tool to replace the legacy XML converter (Chatter) we currently have.
