Minions will only inherit stats that specifically say minion on them. The only stat that minions will get outside of this will be based off of their scaling tags. For Necromancer that stat is going to be Intelligence.

Yes you can be fully dependent on minions. I have a level 100 Necromancer with the Archmage and he stands in the face of nearly anything thrown at him. There are also other builds such as the FG with MA and FW which can handle the high corruption as well.

The new map (Dragonfall) made me realize. Trying to follow a commander tag from 1 event to another as a necro with minions is a pain. Constantly in combat because my pets run off to attack anything nearby. No control over them and the only thing I can do is kill the thing it's attacking. Only for more mobs to spawn and just keep going in an endless cycle.

I know you can use a toy item and then put it away to unsummon your minions, but those can't be used in combat. I think necromancers really need a pet window for a few simple commands to Attack current target, Passive (cease attacking), Unsummon All (minions are destroyed instantly).

Not long ago I was indifferent toward the idea of "hiding/stowing" minions, but now that I started to main reaper and use minions more often, I changed my mind completely. I am totally for the idea of such button/skill/whatever, quality of life for necros would be increased greatly. Now having minions (like cc golem in open world events) is more crippling most of the time than useful.

I mean I love the fact that having more minions out means you are more tanky, but it doesn't help when you want to follow a squad around and can't mount up because of your pets running off without being told to attack something. Quite frustrating.

Yep, came here to post on exactly the same topic. The Dragonfall weak spot events spawn enemies even after the weak spot is destroyed. With most of the other players out of combat, the ones left are downed players and reapers with minions, but the enemies can be elites.

Sometimes my saltmaster hangs for a while on salt '*' test.ping waiting for downed minions to reply. Is there a way so see a list of connected minions, regardless of whether they respond to test.ping?

Entering a faulty salt query (ex. salt '*' -) will also return a list of all the minions each followed by a message stating that the command is not available. You can grep/cut away the extraneous characters. Neither of these options are particularly elegant and the later doesn't address the timeout but it works while I'm looking for an answer to a similar question; "How to list all associated minions via the saltstack python api?".

Now, I have to say, we have watched and actually own Discpicable Me, the movie. I was very hesitant at first, wary of the message being portrayed, but we found it to be a great avenue for discussion about good and evil, AND in the first movie the so called villain changes. His heart changes and he begins fighting for good. Plus those little yellow minions were so stinking cute! I am not going to lie. I have had many belly laughs watching those little yellow faces make their silly noises.

While minions have not acquired a target, they will strictly path linearly along a lane until they find a valid enemy unit. Upon finding one, they will move toward and attack it within their range. Minions respect unit collision as well as player-generated terrain.

The first wave's minions have modified behaviour. Top and bottom lanes' minions are ghosted for 28 seconds, while middle lane minions are ghosted for 18 seconds. They will ignore enemy champions until a champion walks much closer to them or until meeting with the enemy wave. When the waves meet, minions will spread out their attacks on the three enemy melee minions regardless of distance. This special behavior exists so that, in every game, neither side gains a pushing advantage without champion interference since the first wave's melee minions are guaranteed to die at roughly the same time.

Nearby enemy minions will become aggressive toward, or "aggro", an enemy champion within their own variable acquisition range and under certain conditions. When activated by enemy champion actions, this aggression is formally referred to as a Call for Help signal in-game and throughout the wiki, and it is indicated by an icon of three concentrated lines above a minion's health bar (this icon indicates all non-playable units' aggro, including monsters, turrets, pets, etc.).

Minions reevaluate their target in between each attack windup every few seconds. For instance, if an enemy champion is attacking an allied champion and stops doing so, minions will not stop targeting that champion for a short time afterwards.

Creep Score, or CS, is the number of minions, monsters, and champion pets a champion has slain by dealing the killing blow to these units. Dealing this hit is known as last hitting and is considered one of the most important skills in League of Legends.

The Grains interface was built into Salt to allow minions to be targeted bysystem properties. So minions running on a particular operating system canbe called to execute a function, or a specific kernel.

For certain cases, it can be convenient to have a predefined group of minionson which to execute commands. This can be accomplished using what are callednodegroups. Nodegroups allow for predefinedcompound targets to be declared in the master configuration file, as a sort ofshorthand for having to type out complicated compound expressions.

The Minions are small, yellow, capsule shaped creatures, who have one or two eyes that were created by Eric Guillon (though there is a running joke- thanks to Karalynn Dunton- that it was Phineas and Ferb co-creator, Dan Povenmire). They are the deutertagonists of the Despicable Me series, as well as the official mascots for Illumination. They bring much of the comedy in the film, and they are known as the scene-stealer of the movie. Frequently, they speak in an incomprehensible language, called Minionese, occasionally switching to English. They are much childish in some ways, yet they seem to be very intelligent in certain aspects. All the minions are supporting characters in Minions (with the exception of Kevin, Stuart, and Bob), major characters in Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2 and supporting characters in Despicable Me 3 (with the exception of Mel).

Unlike most other criminal masterminds and their usual doctrine of abusing their henchmen, Gru gets along famously with the minions. He genuinely seems to like them and shows appreciation for their hard work and support, only having to be strict with them a few times. He even seems to know each of them by name.

Though there are several hundred minions, there are only about forty-eight possible combinations of height and build (short and chubby, medium, tall and thin), hair (tall buzz-cut, short buzz-cut, sprout, combed, bald), and eyes (one, two). One-eyed minions are always almost all small, although a tall one-eyed minion appears in promotional artwork. Tall Minions are all with Sprout-Cut Hair which none of the other minions have. Also some of the minions (e.g.. Mel, Bob, Otto, etc.) have unique traits.

For the category of all the identified minions in the film, short or attraction see here. The italic names below are those minions who have distinctive appearances in different films, shorts or attraction.

Minions are undead servants bound to the will of their master. Fueled by the dark magics of their creator, these amalgamations of corpses defy mortality and make a mockery of life. Made of bones, flesh, and even shadow, minions are forced to obey their master, and will fight by their side until the end of their life in death.

Minions are one of the types of utility skills available to necromancers. These skills summon a minion of the same level as the necromancer, they stay alive until destroyed by damage, do not have health decay, and their health regenerates while out of combat. When a minion dies or is sacrificed, that minion utility skill goes on recharge, and the minion can be re-summoned after the recharge. Minions are destroyed if the necromancer dies or if the minion utility skill that summoned it is switched from the skill bar. Minions only inherit the player's Condition Damage, Condition Duration, and Boon Duration attributes. Conditions applied by minions are counted as being applied by the Necromancer, which is important for traits like Parasitic Contagion and Corrupter's Fervor. All other attributes, such as health, are determined by the minion type.

Some minions can be sacrificed to produce a variety of effects, while others can be ordered to perform a special attack. This is done through the sequence skill of that minion utility skill. This also means that the number of summoned minions is limited to the number that each minion utility skill summons, most minion utility skills summon one single minion. The summoning skill starts its cooldown when the minion dies.

Beyond the minion utility skills, minions can also be summoned by necromancers through the Death Nova trait, the Summon Madness skill of Lich Form, and by the "Rise!" Reaper shout skill. Minions are also rarely encountered free-roaming in some locations throughout Tyria, the Underworld and the Mists; and summoned by hostile necromancers.

The characters spawned by most summon weapons fall into one of two categories: minions and sentries. Minions are mobile characters that follow the player, while sentries remain stationary. Additionally, the set bonuses of the Stardust armor, Chlorophyte armor, and Forbidden armor will summon an entity to fight for the player in a manner similar to minions.
