Dear colleagues,

Version 11.0.1 of the CHIANTI database has been released. If you use the Solarsoft IDL distribution then you should perform an update, otherwise a tar file can be obtained at https://www.chiantidatabase.org/chianti_download.html. Version 11.0.1 of the IDL software has also been released and is available through Solarsoft or the CHIANTI download site.

The only change to the database is a fix to He II whereby the two-photon transition was incorrectly flagged. This led to the two_photon continuum routine crashing.

A bug in the ff_rad_loss routine, which computes the free-free contribution to the CHIANTI radiative loss function, was fixed. The changes compared to the old routine are small (a few % at most). Modifications to the ch_ss and two_photon routines were also made, but they do not affect the output from these routines.
