STS in Chiang Rai November 4-8

Hello Everyone! 

Our Simply The Story Training Workshop to be held November 4-8 at the YWAM Chiang Rai Base is getting ready. Can you please communicate with me how many people you are bringing with you and how many speak Thai and how many English? Do you know people who have some previous STS experience and would be able to lead a small group in English or Thai?

Hi Sarah,

This workshop is open to all. You are most welcome! We even have YWAMers from Ubon planning to come!

This is a full Simply the Story workshop. You will learn about the heart behind it, hear stories about how it has been effective, and most importantly, you will learn how to tell Bible stories and lead an interactive discussion that goes deep into the story and brings out application that goes deep into the hearts of those involved. 

Accommodation on the YWAM base may fill up quite quickly, but there are other local options if it does.

Delicious Thai Food cooked in the base kitchen costs 30 baht per meal.

The workshop will probably be mornings and afternoons for the duration of the week. 

I can send you the directions to the base if you need a map.

I would be interested in coming and helping out in Chiang Rai doing STS. I could be free for the whole time and just stay there.  I have been through STS with Dr. Larry Dinkins a few times and I use it most days in my daily ministry here in Chiang Mai.  Would enjoy helping lead a small group or helping out in whatever way you would like me to with up fronts.  I can do them in Thai or English.

Hi there
I am working with WEC here in Thailand and attended STS seminar in Chiangmai last year.
Would there be still room for about 4 - 6 Thai co-workers & missionaries from the church in Kamphaengphet and what would be the registration fee / cost? What is the situation with the accommodation now? We are not yet sure how many would really come.
