Chicago EVs - A Facebook Group

Folks, 

When I was looking to buy an EV, I had to look and learn from EV Groups on Facebook, but primarily i found most of them are out of state or elsewhere, no where from here, and especially Chicagoland  and and I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately especailly about how you handle an EV in the snow conditions, and stuff like that....I wanted to understand A lot of the questions are the same:

• How do you handle charging in and around Chicago?

• What’s it really like in the winter?

• Which chargers, apps, or networks are actually reliable?

• Is an EV  worth it for a long commute? Cause i have a long Communite

Instead of everyone trying to figure this out alone, I just went ahead and started a Chicago EV Group on facebook– a local community for EV owners, future owners, and the EV-curious in the Chicago area.

I hope we can learn a lot from different folks who have been driving around and stuff like e.g.

• Share real-world charging tips, commute stories, and winter driving experiences

• Compare EV models, home charging setups, and road trip strategies

• Trade updates on new public chargers, incentives, and EV news in our area

• Organize casual meetups, coffee chats, and ride-and-drive hangouts

To be frank, I don't know much about starting a group or anything, so its basically a touch and go situation...Hopefully it all works out..Fingers Crossed
