I've heard that boxing (as in the sport) is all the rage for women on
the coasts. Does anyone know of a place in Chicago where women can learn to
box?

Also, where would one go to learn woodworking as a hobby?

Thanks,

Well, I don't know about boxing, but I can recommend a terrific place
for woodworking classes.

Try "The Wood Place" in Oak Park, corner of Pleasant and Marion. They
have a large selection of classes for many skill levels, and a very
well-equipped workshop. The staff there is quite knowledgable about
all facets of woodworking, and very friendly.

Sure, marry a guy that likes to come home drunk and take his
frustrations out on "the wife". This sport was made popular
in Cicero way before California got wind of the idea.
Just explain to me why you want someone to smack you in the
