Come Together for Anti War and Social Justice: Concert and Dancing:
Bands, Folksingers, Rap, Hip-Hop, Diverse Music, Saturday, March 15
Rene Maxwell and the Recording Artists for Economic and Human Rights
has organized a concert and dance party to get people to come together
to protest war and promote social justice.
The event is this Saturday, March 15, 2002 from 2PM to 8PM at the
historic Church of the Epiphany, 201 S. Ashland Avenue in Chicago at
the southeast corner of Ashland and Adams, 2 blocks south of Ogden.
Suggested donation is $8 at the door.
The concert will feature a wide variety of music, including Gospel,
Folksingers, Rap, and Hip-Hop. Space is set aside for people to
dance.
Rene Maxwell is a gospel singer, community activist, and organizer for
the Chicago Coalition to Protect Public Housing.
