cricket wireless broadband weirdness

always connect and most times hangs a long time. Trying to use SSH to
ripco is also kinda fucked up.
In the TR below the TR hangs forever and a day between line 4 and line
5, then goes fast again. I also did a ping and some shitty numbers at
the end but don't know what they mean.
Is Cricket kinda fucked right now? their first line of techs on the
phone can't handle this kind of technical question and I've learned even
their tier 2 tech support can't either. It needs to go higher up. I'd
like to be able to be more specific to these "higher up" people.
The service is new to the Chicago area, and I'm guessing they have some
shit to work out.

those IP's are "owned" by ARIN, then line 5 is owned by Cricket/LEAP,
then it goes back, on line 6 to ARIN again then back to Leap.
Is that normal?

Most of the problem I think is with those 63.214.228-231 ip's they are
using.
Besides not have any rdns for them, most of the time the servers spit
back REFUSED when queried.
If they don't want to fix that, they can enjoy the intranet they built.

172.16 - 172.31 are private IPs, like 10.* and 192.168.*. That's why it
says owned by ARIN. It's fine.

I dunno, all of that is just spelling out continuous usage restrictions.
I'm still betting they have a fucked up proxy network to cut down on
operating costs and are optimizing it for email and web browsing since
that's about all normal people would use it for.
If you were a paying customer of ripco, I could of tried to put in a web
based ftp and ssh frontend on one of the webservers.
But alas.

yer asking the wrong person about tethering one of their phones to
your computer but I'd assume if it can be done you'd be on the same
network I am with the A600 modem thingie and have the same
limitations.
It's just fine for web browsing and itunes, streaming music.
