looking for New Year's Eve party in Chicago

Hi - I'm from California and am doing some work out in the Chicagoland
area for the next week or so. Since I'm far from home, I'm looking for
something to do on New Year's Eve.

Can someone give me some help? Looking to find someplace with dancing,
some food, people. Are there any clubs downtown that I should call?
Where do I get tickets?
