They were going to close, but due to an uproar by their loyal customers,
they're going to stay open, but with a more limited menu. Makes sense.
There's a fine line between overdoing your menu vs. sticking to just what
you do right.

If they stay, they'll get lots of business from the new development across
the street, I'm thinking.

Ha.

Unless Father & Son change to an organic, vegan, range-free and gender
neutral menu, the development across the street isn't going to be interested
in them.

I never liked their pizza anyway.

If they are staying open due to "uproar by their loyal customers", what
happens when the uproar dies down?

There was a follow up on the news yesterday, they said they are only
re-opening for delivery and pickup.

So makes ya wonder if they are just sticking to pizza or full menu sans the
dining room.

Eh, not sure people living in overpriced glass cages want to eat a run
down restaurant. I was last in there over a decade ago, and it was way run
down and gross even then.

The pizza was fine, can't really think of anything else to state about the
place.

The marcelos location on North by Halsted was newer, but still seemed a
bit expensive for what it was.
