I was by the Evanston Hospital on Wednesday when a Hatzalah ambolance drove down Central St. (siren on), going to the ER I guess.
Being unfamiliar with this private service, I googled them:

"Hatzalah Chicago is a non-profit volunteer emergency medical service that provides emergency medical response 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at to all who need it, regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
Since December 2011, Hatzalah Chicago has answered over 5,800 calls throughout Skokie, Lincolnwood, West Rogers and Peterson Park."
Also, the good organic starburst candies were sold out at Marianos, someone cheated with candies !
