ask jeeves or something. July 3rd is the last day they'll be open.

We could have a final parking lot covid party before then. I'm very
available these days.

Although my nipples are hard for the idea, I'd have to pass.

I think the only thing we learned about the virus is the fact that we
haven't learned anything at all. Once the hospital icu beds, respirators and
personal protection stuff got under control (wonder how much was spent on
converting McCormick place just to shut it down) the only thing that seems
to help is the "social distanting" and masks.

So basically the less people you come in contact with, the better odds
you'll have running around the house in your underware for many days to
come.

Plus I have two problems with this place...

1) How come a place called "Vienna Beef" serves the worst tasting beef
sandwiches? The ones out of roach infested Korean owned hot dog stands have
a better flavor and texture.

2) When we went for the last "closure", I thought they were being forced out
due to that bit with the elston/damen intersection thing. Now it seems they
are building a putting range on the property? So they just basically sold
out to the highest bidder, right?

So although I have fond memories of Kerman carrying around a 1990's cell
phone in the 21st century and Michelle flashing her boobs at him everytime
he turned his back to her, I really am not shedding any tears this time
around with them closing.

I agree with this. The "experts" are just winging it at this point as the
whole covaids thing is new, and they have nothing to go on.

I'm not going to be partying at the beach, or take a nice long nap on the
blue line, but definitely don't hide out at home all day either.

I recall this now. You wouldn't even eat the thing. I guess they make
corned beef, but never really seen any tubs of "vienna italian beef" at the
store either. Not sure where they hell you'd buy Vienna Beef pickles
either. They have to just be slapping a lable on those.

The hot dogs are eh, about as OK as you can get at this point. They still
can't touch the Besh Kosher ones that were made in the factory they now
occupy.

The whole "we're closing" over and over again gets a bit old. Maybe I can
snag a sun faded hot dog plushie for $1 on the way out.

They still have an "E-trade ATM machine here" sticker on their door.
