You can call one of my best friends. He's short, stout and brown and has

there was sherlock holmes up on the far north side, but was shut down due
to too many loud parties and multiple instances of people enjoying fine

You won't find better than the smoky, allspice-rubbed jerk chicken at the
southside Jamaican restaurant Tropic Island, and there's even a drive-through
window.

Wow, drive-through jerk. What more could you ask for?? There seem to be 2
Tropic Islands: 537 E 79th and 1925 E 79th. Probably same management, but
which do you recommend? It's on my list of places to go. That reminds me,
DD&S (among my favorite BBQ places; 7100 South Chicago) recently put jerk
chicken on the menu. I haven't yet tried it but if it's up to the level of
their BBQ it should be a treat.

The food is identical at both restaurants,
but I think the second one is the branch with the drive-thru window. Truly one
of the
best barbecue restaurants on the south side,
which is saying a lot.
