Hello,

I'd like to try to learn skiing. Would you please tell me how much it is to hire an instructor and how much to rent the equipment in your trip on Feb 7-8?

Great, we're glad that you're willing to try this sport. It's fun once you get the basics down.
The best way to learn is get a beginner's package from any of the ski resorts we're going to.  This will include the use of your equipment, your instructor's time and expertise, and some work on your part.

Just come on the trip, and people will help you out with getting the beginner's package.  Be sure to wear layers of cold weather clothes, with a wicking or thermal underlayer next to your skin. Just ask here if you've got any questions.

Come and enjoy the snow and sun with us!

Maria,

To learn to ski, the best deal is the 1st time beginner package.  It includes a 2 hour lesson, full day rental of skis, poles and boots plus lift ticket.

The group price of this package deal is $69 at Sierra at Tahoe ski resort.  Make sure you tell David Lo, the ski trip #2 lift ticket coordinator, that you want this package.

At Heavenly, if you go to Albertson’s grocery store, you can buy a beginner package for $105, a $20 discount.  Click on the below hot link to a list of participating Albertson’s store.

All skiers and snowboarders,

Lucky’s and Save Mart grocery store sell discount adult lift tickets to Heavenly ski resort for $70.  The regular price of adult Heavenly lift ticket is $82.

David Lo is the ski trip #2 lift ticket coordinator.  I will NOT be on ski trip #2.

Tom
