Dear Friends,

It is that time of year again when we look forward to our AGM! We always try to have something a bit different and this year we have excelled ourselves and booked local historian, Andrew Selwyn - Crome, The Victorian Ghost Hunter! The AGM will be held in the Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre, Colville Road on Wednesday 20th July at 7.30pm. Please share and display the attached poster.

After our official business and the election of officers and committee, we will hear about the Society for Psychical Research, which started in Cambridge in 1882 and discover the strange and bizarre tale of Edmund Gurney!

This is an open meeting, all welcome. Members free and only £1 for non members to include a welcome glass of summer punch! Please bring your family and friends.
There will not be a raffle.

It is also time to renew your membership or join. Our membership fee is £2 per year, 5 years for £10 and £25 for a Lifetime Membership. As it is five years since we started this scheme, most of our original 5 yr membership will be up for renewal, please check your membership card.
You can take out membership at the meeting or by sending your payment and details to: FCHH Membership, 204, Queen Edith's Way, Cambridge CB1 8NL.

Further dates for your diary:
Saturday 1st October - Community Action Day in Cherry Hinton Hall. Meet by the pond at 10am. Our chance to have a good tidy up and litter pick.

Wednesday 16th November - 7.30pm, Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre.
Friends meeting with Anthony French from the City Council, with an update on the master plan work in Cherry Hinton Hall.

Thank you for your continued support.

Best wishes
