Chez JJ legal defense crowdfunding campaign

Hi friends,

We need your help. We're getting sued by the hostile neighbor who harassed Chez JJ out of our SF home. Our crowdfunding campaign to help with legal fees to defend ourselves against his lawsuit just went live this morning:

For those of you who remember (and lived in the Castro house), this is the same guy who pounded on our doors at 2AM, played a ballerina song on loop from early morning until 10PM daily for months on end, write denigrating notes that we and our housemates have to pass by on our way to school/work. He also forged letters to our landlord posing as his own master tenant so that he could enjoy rent control while harassing us. And yes, he sued us months AFTER we moved out. 

Well, although he's getting sued for fraud, he hasn't quit hounding us yet, and we still have to pay our lawyer. And unfortunately, Airbnb's Host Guarantee policy doesn't cover legal fees (for any of the hosts who are getting sued), so we need all the help we can get from the community who are really here for us. We were hoping it wouldn't have to come to this, but we need your help. As of our most recent legal bill, we're bled close to dry. 

Contributions will go straight to our lawyer (e.g., will not be eligible for settlement), and if somehow, our legal costs end up being less than the campaign collects, the extra will be donated to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). Your contribution will really help us get the ball rolling on this campaign, as the momentum from the first couple days of the campaign have such a disproportionate impact on the outcome.
