MechaGator’s Red Hot Luau

New Orleans, LA - June 23rd, 2015 - The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus is throwing a Hawaiian style pig roast AND cooking a feral hog in a “Cajun Microwave” all for a great cause.

In recognition of their tireless dedication and hard work to keep our community safe, all members of the NOFD are invited to get a FREE plate of pork with their Firemans badge!

We'll be selling plates of delicious slow roasted pig and tasty libations. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit Friends of New Orleans Fire Department.

The event will feature entertainment by DJ MicPhedusha and the New Orleans Techno Bull.

There will be an incredible flame FX display by New Orleans own Robo-Kaiju creature, the MechaGator! 

And there will be kiddie pools and a slip’n slide for those who need to cool down.

The Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbacchus' own Charitable Sisters of the Wook will be hosting a Chewbacchus Yard Sale and a Bake Sale to raise money to support the community endeavors of the Sacred Drunken Wookiee, specifically the creation of the Chewbacchus Little Free Library. MechaGator's Red Hot Luau will take place in the big beautiful lots behind Castillo Blanco Art Studios at 1118 Poland Avenue, NOLA 70117.

Entry to the event is FREE!
