Looking for my Dad's Bel Air History

My mom gave me an awesome X-Mas gift this year. It was the original
title & sales slip from my Dad's 1959 2-door Bel Air! I have the
serial number (C59N 238 247) and am trying to see if the car still
exists. Can anyone tell me how to find out? I have searched several
sites, but they don't recognize these old serial numbers.
I currently have a '59 2-door Bel Air that I bought 2 yrs ago..

Have you tried contacting the DMV in the state where it was purchased? I know here in Washington you can do title searches on vehicles going back a long way. If anything it might point you in the right direction.

Ramone59 - I think you could contact your local DMV and have someone
there help you with a title search. That should get you started; if
the paper trail disappears, the car either went out of state or is no
longer on the road.
