The results are in and Ward 6 was the 2nd highest voting ward in the 2023 Elections. (Past Election Results can be viewed here). In most elections, Ward 6 is often 2nd to last in turnout. To say that in an uncontested race, to be the 2nd highest brings me great joy and I can't wait to see the turnout at our next election. I will note that there were 2 write-ins. One I was warned about, and another that gave everybody a chuckle. So whoever wrote in "Larry Fry" please note, our son confirmed that his dad did not do it LOL 😂

I hope the new electronic ballot process was smooth, and while I know many of us missed the little ol' wooden ballot box, I am so grateful for the hard work so many of our volunteers put forward to make this election run smoothly. Many of our Ward 6 residents were volunteering in a variety of different ways yesterday and so many of y'all showed up. THANK YOU!!!

Please don't forget that we have several different meetings coming up AND I will be circling back with several of you who I have discussed having other Community Conversations or will be providing more information as requested.
