Dear Neighbors,

I hope this note finds you well after what turned out to be a rather eventful weekend. As many of you experienced, the recent boil water advisory created some confusion and concern. I want to thank everyone who stayed alert and informed—whether you received updates through my WhatsApp (you can add me at 301-678-3796), followed along on Facebook, or got alerts through the Town’s text alert system.

If you’re signed up for updates but didn’t receive anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s always a good idea to double-check your account settings (especially with the text-alert system) and ensure your contact information is up to date.

Looking ahead, I want to remind residents of 63rd Place, Joslyn Place, and Cheverly Hills Court that we’re planning a walk-and-talk meeting on Monday, July 21 at 6:00 PM, weather permitting. We’ll meet at the top of the hill at Jason Street & 63rd Place, and then walk down toward Joslyn to talk about traffic calming measures and how we can all prepare for a safe start to the school year.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, our rain date will be Wednesday, July 23.

Please take a moment to review the attached materials, and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns at AF...@Cheverly-MD.gov. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing many of you on Monday evening!

We have a work session scheduled for this Thursday and next (the 31st) so please stay tuned for more updates to come.
