Hello All,

Here is more information about the program I mentioned during closing meeting:
Instead of only one collection day at the end of Finals Week, we will be collecting items from Monday, May
14th, through closing on Friday, May 18th.
• Instead of one collection site per community, we have attempted to add multiple donation locations in each
area.
• Rather than only having exterior locations, we have identified internal locations across North Campus and
are providing internal locations across South Campus between the hours of 8pm and 10am to prevent
cancellation of this event due to inclement weather.
• Rather than having donation locations only available during the day when students are taking finals, we have
identified donation locations where residents can donate 24 hours a day as they are packing to leave for the
summer.

Given these changes, we hope to greatly expand this program, collect more items to be repurposed for community
members, and divert a large amount of trash from the waste stream!
