Register onsite from 6:45 to 7pm (Email in advance preferred)
Games 7:00pm, 7:25pm, 7:50pm, 8:15pm, 8:40pm 

LIMITED SEATING – RESERVE YOUR SPOT WITH AN EMAIL

5-round with SwissPerfect computer pairing

10-minutes per player and game
(players with electronic clocks may set the clock to 8 minutes and 3 seconds delay)

No Membership required - not an official rated tournament
Bring your chess set and clock if you have them (we will have extras)

 

Prizes $80 based on 16 players
prizes equal 100 % of entries

1^stprize $36 (45% of entries)

2^ndprize $16 (20%of entries)

1^st “lower rating group” $16 (20% of entries)

2^nd “lower rating group” $12 (15% of entries)
        - part of all prizes is paid with a $5 PerkUp gift certificate

-“lower rating group” means players with a rating lower as the median rating
(in this tournament) e g all players with rating < 1400 IF median rating is 1400,
- Club rating might be used to maintain fairness meaning official rating +/- adjustments
based on earlier results @ PerkUp
- Prize distribution according to points and calculated tie breaks (no breakups)
