Entry Fee $5  / Prizes $120 by 16 players
prizes equal 150 % of entries
(a smaller part of all prizes will be paid out as gift certificates)
1^stprize $50
2^ndprize $30
1^st in lower half $25
(e g first with rating 1400 and lower if median rating of players is 1400)

Indianapolis Chessplayers!

 

In the past two years I heard many of you express a desire to have an upscale Chessclub in Indianapolis.

For example

to have a place to play chess games

as well as to play quick and blitz chess tournaments

and to play regular slow tournament games there, ALL THIS in events with and without USCF Rating!

and now they open their doors AFTER REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS for the New Broad Ripple Chessclub

 

While PerkUp Café is a rather small Café we ask you to come -NEXT TUESDAY- to bring your ideas for new tournaments that you want to participate in

(please do not understand this as competition to any existing meetings – it’s a place for tournaments AND meetings on a monthly basis –always FIRST TUESDAYS)

 

FIRST MEETING AND A FIVE ROUND SWISS - 10 MINUTES QUICK CHESS TOURNAMENT

(unrated – no membership req’d – 16 players maximum )

(WITH $5 Entry and 150 % OF ENTRIES AS PRICES
(we also have prices for beginners/lower rated players)

Well - While people with families -like me- need time to plan ahead – for Chessplayers it often doesn’t take long to make a decision IF they want to play chess.
