Dear Fellow Democrats,
There's a lot going on in the NH State Legislature right now, and we want you to be informed about all of the important health care legislation being introduced and discussed by legislators.
Please join us on Thursday, February 23 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Keene Library (60 Winter Street) for an informative discussion about health care in our state!
Expert panelists including Mike Goudzwaard from NH Voices for Health and Carol Stamatakis from the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities will discuss new healthcare legislation being introduced at the State House for 2012. There are many bills this year that are focused on dismantling both our current health care system and the protections of the Affordable Care Act, but also some that will help make positive progress in the state. After we hear from our great speakers, I'll share what we can do to make a difference on these bills.
Light refreshments will be served. If you love to cook, you can even bring a snack to share if you'd like!
As someone who cares about healthcare, we would love to keep you updated on what is going on at the State House and how you can help! We all have worked so hard for healthcare reform, and we are going to make sure that is implemented here in New Hampshire.
