Change to 55th Reunion

[CheshireCT Class of 1969]

Since sending out the reunion invitation last week we have become aware of class members who have difficulty driving at night, and who won't be able to come to the reunion.  As a result we have changed the time to accommodate everyone. We will now meet at J Timothy's from noon to 4:00. We will also change our walking time at the bike path at Lock 12 to 9:30 that morning, skipping our lunch at Blackies. Here is the resend of our invitation, with a change in times. 

Hello CHS 1969 Classmates,

We never imagined in 1969 that we would ever talk about a 55th reunion...but here it is. Jim Welch has once again generously offered to provide us with free food at his restaurant, which includes his famous, award-winning chicken wings. Jim's restaurant is J Timothy's Taverne at 143 New Britain Ave in Plainville.  There will be a cash bar. We will meet from noon to 4pm on September 28th. The reunion committee has decided that we will charge $20 per person to give Jim's waitstaff a generous tip for the day.

for you and your guest, if you are bringing one. Little did Sally realize when she was elected class treasurer that it would be for life!! Thank you, Sally. 

We will also be planning to walk along the bike path at Lock 12 at 9:30 that morning.  If mobility is an issue for you, join us anyway, and you can visit with others on the benches.
