I hope all had a great summer of flying and are anxiously looking forward too spring. I have spent the last few weeks putting together a basic website for our organization in an effort for not only our current members to stay informed but to give perspective seaplane pilots a starting point to begin their journey here in the bay region. This is a project in work and I would like everyone to take a look at the site and forward any suggestions you might have back to me. I am not a programmer and have basic Go Daddy ability, so be kind.

We are already looking forward to our spring migration to Tavares Seaplane-A-Palooza March 28th-29th. Last year we had several planes fly down for the weekend and several members drive down. The event had a total of over 40 planes, 2 days of events and beautiful weather. From there we make our way down to Sun n Fun. It would be a great start to our VSPA season if we could get a group of us to go and promote seaplane flying in Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay Region. If you are interested in the event you can go to the Tavares America’s Seaplane City website and get more information. The 2020 event isn’t published yet but should be up soon. Give me a call if yo might be interested.

I am looking forward to another great season in 2020, with even more events. I hope to keep the calendar up to date, so pass on any other events you might want to see on the calendar. Thanks again for a safe year of seaplane flying and any suggestions you might have for the website.
