The weather looks perfect for tomorrow’s splash-in!
The wind will probably be from the north at 3 or 4 knots. Partly cloudy. Mid-80s.
Call “Maxwell” or “Taj Mahouse” on 123.45 when you get near.
If you’re taxiing ashore, aim for the blue tarp. Stick back and plenty of power until you’re well onto the grass.
If you’re beaching, you already know what to do.

Many thanks to all the folks who made it to the splash-in! The
weather was outstanding, and all together there were 14 airplanes
and a boat. (One plane had some difficulties that delayed it, but it
managed a couple of nice splash-and-goes anyway.) There were lots
of excellent multi-plane fly-bys, great fun to watch, and several of
the neighbors let us know that they had been delighted by the whole
show. The attached video frame is an example--six planes!
Thanks also, to Neal and Janet, who kindly let us use their beach and lawn. And to Julie and Kev, who helped with the eats and lots of other things as well.
The five little kids who played on the beach most of the afternoon seemed to have a great time, too. One, an eleven year old girl, has been attending a STEM camp and because of this splash-in is now in line for a Young Eagle ride.

Thanks again to the Maxwells, and all who contributed. The Sauers had a great time. At one point during the “show”, there were 9 airplanes in the sky, maneuvering for fly-overs! Great stuff!
