Hi,

I have been a CP user for a few years now and was wondering where does cheroot fit in the cherrypy ecosystem?

Cheers,

Cheroot allows someone to use the CherryPy HTTP server without having to install the entire framework. Personally, I used to use CherryPy for running WSGI apps. Had cheroot been around, it would have been exactly what I needed. Similarly, some people dismiss CherryPy's HTTP server b/c it comes with an application framework, so again, cheroot just speaks to these user's needs.

HTH

Eric
