Replacing the default cherrypy favicon.ico

I've stuck with the cherry icon as long as I can, but now my customer
wants it gone. I've spent an hour or so trying to change it, searching
here, the TG group, the CP-devel group, and the CP wiki for help.
Nothing I've found has worked. I've placed a copy of my own
favicon.ico all over, but it never seems to get called.

Any help is appreciated.

I never see any GETs for it in the screen log--

Try doing a search for "favicon" on the cherrypy.org site and you'll find
this page which might help you: http://www.cherrypy.org/wiki/Favicon

It may also be your browser. I know that Firefox caches favicon.ico for
quite a while, and that may be why you don't see it in the logs. You
have to delete your cache first before it issues another GET for it. I
dont know if IE or Opera do the same.
