(I don't think this list has been used yet but I have status updates anyway)
I talked with Diane today about how we could perform user research for cherry picker (sift).
She had several suggestions for once we are ready.
* A few longer term study checks in with participants to monitor the value proposition, how valuable is sift to your daily life?
* A couple short term studies to smooth out the main interaction flows of signup, and the main usage use case
Also having a working version running which can be shared with the internal mozilla crowd. If we restrict the browserID logins to
mozilla.com we should be able to ensure that only valid
mozilla.com email address holders have access to the site.
Our initial target audience is the "Lifehacker crowd" which we're describing as "people who are 'gadgety', aware of and interested in all the new software and hardware systems".
We're going to be creating a questionnaire for finding the right candidates for the first couple of studies.
Cheers,
