But be careful what you say, because Mercury is in retrograde.
May's installment of dra.g.lam was a total thrill, pulling in 200+ people on a Monday night to take in all of the gender-bending hotttness. Apparently drag kings and Burly-Q queens make for excellent compliments to a strong cocktail. Who knew? Thanks to everyone who came out for my producing debut, and keep checking out the blog for photos from the show, courtesy of Sir Sabrina Valentine.
Also, no promises, but there may be another one of those in the works...
My really exciting news that I had to keep secret from you last month is:
I am an I *Heart* Brooklyn Girl !
That's right, yer Cherry Bomb will be featured in the 2008 calendar along with 11 other amazing and stunning Queer chicks.
Check out www.iheartbrooklyngirls.com for more info and a view of last year's calendar. This year's calendar will be out in September and bet yer ass that I'll let you know when and how to get it, not to mention inviting you to all the kick off parties and such. Because really, what's the point of doing something if you can't have a party for it?
I'm so stoked to be involved in such an excited project with some seriously talented women, and all for a good cause. What more could a girl ask for?
Keep checking out the blog to stay update on what's going down. I'm going to beg the geniuses over at Command C Design + Photography to do a little website refreshing, so hopefully I'll have some new eye candy for you in the next month or two. If your website needs some help, hit them up. You saw what they did for mine...
