[Cherokee] Why fastcgi using load balancers (ip hash, round robin, failover)?

When you need more than one worker process.

So almost always in 'serious' apps, and never in 'small blogs' probably.

ok, but  fastcgi can balance loads on different virtual servers as HTTP
reverse proxy?
