I used to love travelling and meeting new people. Before I got married, I went to the U.K. for 3 years, Johannesburg for 1 year, and short trips to Switzerland, Paris, Italy, China and Korea. Each and all the experiences were very exciting and travelling was something I thought I would keep doing throughout my life.
I remotely work as an OriHime pilot from my home. Basically I chat with customers of the cafe through OriHime, whilst I try to add movements to the robot to match the words I say. 15 table top sized OriHime are usually placed in the cafe. Reserved customers can enjoy 1 hour close chat with one pilot who will explain the menu and take orders. Non-reserved customers are also always welcome and they can enjoy talking to OriHime pilots, for a flexible shorter time.
Our food menu varies from light meals like sandwiches to double wagyu hamburg steaks for a big meal or afternoon tea sets for desserts along with fair trade coffees, seasonal limited drinks, Japanese wines and more! So I hope you can enjoy one and only robot cafe experience, at any time of the day, any time of the year!

A pilot study of narghile water-pipe smokers in a cafe in the Hamra neighborhood of Beirut, Lebanon, was conducted to develop a preliminary model of narghile water-pipe smoking behavior for use in laboratory smoking machine studies. The model is based on data gathered from smoking sessions of 30 min or longer duration from 52 smoker volunteers using a differential pressure puff topography instrument, as well as anonymous visual observations of 56 smokers in the same cafe. Results showed that the "average" water-pipe cafe smoking session consists of one hundred seventy-one 530-ml puffs of 2.6-s duration at a frequency of 2.8 puffs/min. The implications of this comparatively high-intensity puffing regimen on the production of toxic smoke constituents are discussed.
CAF, a Climate Change and Health Research Coordinating Center in support of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Climate Change and Health Initiative, announced a request for proposals for pilot projects focused on climate change and health research. Proposals are due March 15, 2024 and they anticipate announcing awards by May 15, 2024.
The objective is to provide small seed funding for activities like data collection, community engagement, and training workshops. This will allow investigators to strengthen future independent funding applications to help expand the climate and health research community.

If the Pilot line by Zenith was usually inspired by antique pilot-watches from the brand and aeronautic, it is rather surprising to see an edition now focusing on vintage motorbikes. This watch has all the elements of antique pilot watches, like the Type 20, with these specific luminous numerals and cathedral hands. However, and even if we already seen this collection using exotic material like bronze or sapphire, it is the first time that Zenith features a stainless steel case with an aged treatment, resembling a patina. The case here measures 45mm and features the typical Zenith Pilot lugs, as well as the onion crown, also in aged steel. The vintage look of the case is complemented by a greenish, oily nubuck aged leather strap, which, fits very well the overall design. The watch is large of course but remains quite easy on the wrist.
The caseback is plain and adorned with a nice engraving. Rather than displaying the movement, which would have been somehow lost in the middle of this large case, Zenith prefers to keep things hidden here, with this titanium caseback.
Pilots cafe, plus the flash cards I made, and studying with fellow classmates and quizzing each other did the trick for me. When we studied we would often take turns going up to the white board and teaching the group on one particular IFR topic each.
