Objectives and Motivation

Intelligent systems and artificial intelligence applications have made significant progress over the last two decades. From simple knowledge based systems and expert systems, today we are able to develop systems that are able to learn and very often challenge humans and domain experts. Many organizations are investing heavily on the development of AI and intelligent systems. AI encompasses many areas that include Natural Language processing, Speech Recognition, Semantic Web, Machine Learning and Data Mining. Over the last few years Deep learning is becoming the most used approach as it has shown to improve traditional machine learning approaches.

A plethora of applications have been developed in many domains such as health to predict life expectancy, or classify medical images and identify normal from pathological one, predicting stock exchanges variations, natural language based queries and sentiment analysis.

This session aims to bring academics and practitioners working in the various fields of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence to share their experiences and discuss the overall impact of AI on society, health management and businesses.  We solicit high quality contribution on various aspects of AI and intelligent systems in the form or original Research papers and case studies.

Paper Submission

We invite authors to submit original and high quality articles on the above mentioned topics or related topics.  Submissions should be made to Prof Farid Meziane (f.me...@Salford.ac.uk) .

http://www.iccmit.net/. The accepted papers will be published in ISI/SCOPUS journals. The best articles will be invited to be published as extended article/ book chapter in IGI GlobalBook.
