Need volunteers to train college students (organized by US Consulate)

Hello Toastmasters,

We need volunteers to run a youth leadership program for women students during the weekdays ! 

You can help the students by volunteering to conduct any of the sessions (even 1/2 day is fine). The program format is similar to our Toastmasters Meetings.

If you are interested to groom yourself as a 'training professional', this is an opportunity for you.

This program is organized by the US Consulate. US Consulate is paying Rs.500 for conveyance of the volunteers.

What: Youth Leadership Program

When: 25th, 26th, 28th Feb and 1st Mar (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri)  9.00 am - 12.30 am / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm

Where: SIET College, Nandanam, Chennai

Duration: 1/2 day or full day sessions (Pattern is similar to our regular Toastmasters Meetings)

Who: Toastmasters who are passionate about training students (We'll coach you on 'how to run the session')

you planing to go one of these days ? i have never been to a YLP , Yes you heard me right. so i will be interested to come , but without any kind of training i think it will be of no use. So let me know if you are going, i will try to tag along with you , and see if i can learn something :)

We'll coach the trainers... so, no issues :)

Btw., you've replied to the entire group... and I want others to know that "The program will be similar to our toastmasters meeting. We have to be just facilitators doing evaluation roles and the students will do the performance".
