I wrote this last year for a campus magazine, thinking of doing the same this year as well. I had a good session on Saturday (Training session), talked and talked to the handful who were present about our race and training and so forth. I have written to everyone on campus (pretty much), linking the Metro Plus article and providing the link for TWCM, suspect registrations will start trickling in only after a big blitz. My last ditch idea is to organise another race (my reimbursement papers for the previous one - the 5k fun run - went through fine I believe, so budget is not an issue now) and on race day, collect the finishers and manually register them, taking cash from them. Might plan a 10k race - perhaps on the authentic race route?

Krishna had the idea that we should be hanging out providing hydration support to various runners on weekend mornings, would be lovely to do this on our campus next Sunday. I feel the walkers will love it more than the runners.

Pls comment. Give me ideas.

When I read this first last year - I thought how inspirational, motivational it was - a romance between an individual, running, the roads and the campus is brought out so well!!!

I am infact going to forward this to Prince - to get him thinking of doing a follow-up article very soon.

We will trigger the sunday morning support - after a discussion with the team tomorrow.

With only a month to go - we really need to go all out in getting ready for the event.

Definitely you should repost this or do a new one!

Agree with Krishna.. we could do a flavor of this in The Hindu or in our own blog..

Awesome write-up Preeti!

We should certainly re-publish this. 

In case you are going to write a new one - a suggestion would be to elaborate a little on the 10k route so that we can send this out as a blog + route description to the whole group.
