Hbase error:Assigning Root Region

Hi all,
         My error is like:  After i started hadoop cluster and Hbase, My Hmaster status is like Assigning ROOT region (since 7mins, 23sec ago).  Hence  i coudn't see ROOT and META tables in web UI. So please help me out in this....

Dinesh,
Please follow the steps.
1. Stop the cluster and delete your zookeeper dir
2. Comment 127.0.1.1 line in /etc/hosts if present

Restart the cluster.

Even if its not assigning ROOTand META, plz attach all 3 logs.

My etc/hosts lookslike
127.0.1.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 dinesh-desktop

::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
Is this correct or which 1 i shud comment ? and which
1 i shud make it to 127.0.0.1

Please make both lines to 127.0.0.1 assuming that dinesh-desktop is ur hostname.
