Receipt of I - 797

Folks:

 

Has anyone received their I - 797 receipt, which is mailed once we pay the SEVIS fee? Records say that mine was shipped on May 26, but still not received it. I did not choose expedited delivery.

You dont need to have SEVIS original receipt for entering US, I heard.
My friend sent a mail to them and I have pasted their reply below.

You can print the receipt anytime from our website. Go to www.fmjfee.com and click Check status and then enter your SEVIS ID, last name, and date of birth. The printed receipt is as valid as the hard copy and will be acceptable to take to your Visa interview and to enter the United States.  You do not have to wait for the updated/hard copy receipt to arrive.
