The "Recover Text from Any File" converter has limitations. For example, document formatting is lost. Additionally, graphics, fields, drawing objects, and any other items that are not text are lost. However, field text, headers, footers, footnotes, and endnotes are retained as simple text.

After the document is recovered by using the "Recover Text from Any File" converter, there is some binary data text that is not converted. This text is primarily at the start and end of the document. You must delete this binary data text before you save the file as a Word document.

Since it was introduced a couple of years ago, the portable document format (PDF) has been one of the most preferred formats for sharing files and storing information. Although it is mostly preferred for sharing documents on the internet, the fact that it cannot be edited can be really annoying and frustrating; especially if you want to modify a piece of information from a PDF report instantly or print certain pages from a PDF document. This is why an effective PDF to Word converter is required. While there are many PDF to Word converters in the market today, most are not as effective as they should be,due to their slow conversion rate, tendency to ruin the original design of the document and inability to convert from PDF to more file formats

"UniPDF" is an easy to use PDF to Word converter with 20 UI languages and a lot of advanced features to help convert PDF documents to your preferred formats easily and conveniently. It is the perfect PDF to Word solution.

However, an advanced desktop PDF converter such as Able2Extract Professional allows users to select what PDF content they want to extract to MS Word: an entire document, a page range, a single page, or even specific paragraphs and lines of text.

Instead of wasting valuable time on fixing layout inconsistencies, you can use a business-grade PDF converter - Able2Extract Professional. It will ensure that the original document structure and formatting remain consistent after every conversion.

.pages files are documents, created with Apple's word processor Pages, which is part of the iWork package. Pages is available for Mac OS X and iOS and is a competitor to Microsoft Word. .pages files can contain complex documents with tables, charts and pictures.

DOC is a word processing file created by Microsoft. This files format turns a plain-text format into a formatted document. It supports almost all the Operating Systems. It can contain large amount of text, data, charts, table, image etc. It can contain rich text format (RTF) and HTML texts also.

I've created a form where responses populate a word doc template and create a file in SharePoint. This all works fine. The next step should convert the document to a pdf, but I get an error that says --The selected file doesn't exist, please select a valid file and drive. clientRequestId: 0b8924ab-4efe-47c3-991e-a8672fc6386e-- at the 'Convert Word Document to PDF step', However, it does exist. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Below are some pictures of my flow up to that step. Note: in the 'Convert to PDF' step, I've tried, from the 'Create File' step: ID, Name, and DisplayName.

I realize this was a long time ago, but I faced similar issues and really needed to avoid One Drive. My process worked, finally, and here was the solve: In the Convert Word step, in File it should be / then the Name output from the create file in sharepoint step (it wants a path to the file relative to the document library root). I also needed to be sure the filename when I then saved the converted document back to SharePoint wasn't just the Name output, because I just get a word doc because that is the filename when I created the first Word doc. So I needed to ensure the filename is just recreated and instead of .docx on the end of it, place .pdf. Works great. Thanks, Kev

Mine is a little different from @Mike44's, because I am storing the PDF files.

First, I populate the template and create the word file in sharepoint. Then I convert it to PDF, save it, attach that to the email, and delete the Word file.

With a suite of other easy-to-use tools for merging and splitting PDFs, compressing and rotating PDFs, and deleting PDF pages, our PDF converter breaks you free from the typical constraints of PDF files.

In my last company, I had to do something similar, but found that converting pdfs to word docs with Adobe Pro X and XI to barely have usable results - 90% of the time the formatting was wrecked and the conversion only saved me time from retyping everything - I still had to proof, because acrobat occasionally added letters or symbols to random words., 30% of the time, the conversions were so off/fragmented, it really was better that I manually retyped large portions of the document.

So, I was curious is there a good PDF to Doc converter out there that I can run on a desktop - cannot do online converters due to the sensitivity of the documents. I would gladly pay for the software assuming it actually worked better than Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Just open the PDF in Word... PDFReflow has been in Word since 2013 version. I never understood why businesses feel the need to "edit" PDF files. It's like wanting to take white out to a bunch of printed pages when what they should be doing is getting a hold of the original word documents that were used to create the PDF files. If you can't get a hold of the originals cut and paste the text of the poorly converted documents into a new, correctly formatted word document.

I use Cisdem PDF Converter OCR to convert my PDF files into word. I think it's the best value that support OCR recognition technology software for me, and it did quite well on converting my kinds of PDF files into word document or other formats like PPTX or text.

Almost all PDF editors include conversion tools. It's just one of many different tools they feature, like OCR software and eSign software. Generally, they'll all convert to the popular filetypes, with some variations and extras, such as converting PDF to JPG, depending on the platform. However, you can find free PDF to Word converters that are largely focused on document conversion across a broad pool of formats - mostly these PDF converters are browser-based, rather than downloadable software.

PDF to Word converters transform PDF (Portable Document Format) files to docx files you can easily open and edit in Microsoft Word. This makes your organization's documents more accessible to those who need to view them. But it also means you can edit PDFs without a PDF editor.

PDFs can be frustratingly stubborn when you need to make a change. That's partly why they were created: to create a standardized document that displays the same whatever platform or device it's opened on. So, when you want to edit the PDF, you need software that can do that. Using the best free PDF to Word converter is a nice little workaround for making amendments in Microsoft Word.

For more options, it's worth exploring the best free PDF editors and online PDF to Word converters. These often have file size and conversion limits, so better for casual users. In most cases, the process is also really simple - pick a document, select the output, download the file for saving and sharing.
