[2] Blood Shield rocks! I'm facing Golfimbul, an Orc Captain, and 3
Black Orcs all at once. They hurt me a bit, but my shield quickly
grew to the point where they can't touch me (AC 78 167 out of 395hp).

[3] If you push your Con up early (like I did), all the cut effects
seem to instantly wear off. A high con means you recover like 10 to
your cut status every 10 game turns. And with base 0 speed, that
happens before your next move. However, once I picked up Blood
Shield, its high cost of 30hp gives 30 to cuts. Blood Flow increases
cut status by 20%, so now I can grow my cuts cheaply.
[4] Blood Bath is very useful for farming Undead Masses ... except
that I was leery of the permanent con drain, so I ended up shooting
them. Still, I did get drained once during the ordeal, and it was
nice to be able to refresh.
[5] Blood Spray is not getting much use. Early on, it helped control
some lice. Maybe I'll beef up the radius more. Its currently radius
2 until level 30 when it becomes radius 3. I think I'll add 1 to
that.

[3] Its working well now. Once you have Blood Shield or higher
spells, you can simply prime it. Adding a constant is difficult.
Adding 10 is about the most you can do without just killing early
characters. But for characters with 18/120 con, 10 is meaningless (I
forgot to mention that if 20% of cut is below 10, I just add 10).
Here is an update on Splatter:
In typical annoying fashion, my early rewards were crap, and left me
without FA, SI, RBase. Rather than just dying, I grunted it out for a
bit, ran into a Necronomicon on DL24 as well as a quartz vein. In the
dungeon (and lacking RElec), I could only get 40k out of the veins
before things got really hairy. Recall, and I dug my old BM shop
scumming macro out of the closet. 15 days for ring of FA, gloves of
FA, and Shield of Resistance. No SI, but, ah well, beggars can't be
choosers. Into the Mimic's Q where I pick up: Werewindle, Rand-art
Green DSM, Hammerhand. Hmmm ... Nice. Check out the 217 AC and 432
damage. Of course, I'm dead in 3 turns or so if I don't quaff !CCW.
