Evidence- we needed to find the size of an oil molecule by putting water and baby powder in a petri dish. Then we put a 5 mm drop of oil on the surface and watched it spread out. We then calculated the volume which was about .523 mm^3. then we proceeded to find the area which was about .19 mm^2. Next we were to find the thickness which was about 3.69 mm ^-4. therefore the size of an oil molecule was 3.69mm^-4.

Explanation: We were able to estimate the size of an oil molecule by using the mathematical equations for Volume and Area which we found to be 3.69 mm^-4.

Connection: i found how important it is for scientists and engineers to know measurements for very small things that they work with. its very important for things such as nano technology.

communication: I think the best way to communicate my findings is probably to write a 1000+ page book and get it published and sell each one for $19.99 at local retailers.

Reflection: most of us got similar results, but there were a few variables that could change the results such as amount of oil dropped and baby powder.
